As a photographer, finding the right way to display images on my site has been challenging. I needed to display them portfolio-like, with thumbnails on the page. I thought I’d use the regular galleries, had figured out how to create galleries that look OK, only to run into an issue that no matter how I order them, they don’t show their posts in the correct order. orderby=”menu_order” didn’t work.<\/p>\n

So I got a gallery plugin, NextGEN Gallery, to which I added some code to size the thumbnails in IE properly (My thanks to Microsoft for making everyone’s job harder!), only to realize the gallery animation is Flash, so no iOS devices. <\/p>\n
